Special Features

SOLDARGEN NI is a low-fuming alloy for Brass, Bronze, and ferrous materials. High Nickel content provides it with excellent resistance against friction wearing. Easy to use. It produces clean and poreless finishing. It's very machineable.

Applications

Tungsten setting on lathe tools
Restoring of worn or broken cogs in gear wheels.
Coating of parts under friction wearing.
High mechanical demanding joints.

Brazing instructions

Clean the zones to be joined. Apply enough amounts of ARGENTA FLUX 200 ROSA powder or paste. Using the torch, heat up the parts evenly. Apply the alloy once the flux takes a liquid appearance. Spread over using the neutral or reducing flame of the torch.
For major fillings and reparations, V bevel.

Bare rods:Ø 2.4 mm. - Ø 3.1 mm. - Ø 4.0 mm. and Ø 5.0 mm. x 1000 mm.
Coated rods:Ø 2.4 mm. - Ø 3.1 mm. and Ø 4.0 mm. x 450 mm.
