Main Features

1) Smooth and highly stable arc.
2) Easy removal of residuary dross.
3) Low carbon content (0,025%) prevents intergranular corrosion caused by carbon precipitation on the grain edges, determinant for getting strong joints.
4) High Molibdenum content allows for great oxidizing resistance at high temperatures (1.100º C) when compared to other electrodes recommended for similar uses.
5) An outstanding use of this electrode is for poor weldability iron welding.

Aplications

Welding of stainless steel containing between 16 % and 26 % Chrome, 8 % and 14 % Nickel, and 0 a 3 % Molibdenum. Dissimilar steel welding, and of unknown composition.
